Cracked or missing weather seals let in rain, dust, and pests. We replace bottom seals, side seals, and vinyl trim to keep your garage clean and dry. This is a simple, affordable fix that makes a big difference, especially during San Diego's rainy season. New seals also help keep your garage cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Weather seal and trim includes the rubber or vinyl strips that line the bottom and sides of your garage door. The bottom seal presses against the floor when the door is closed. The side and top seals close the gaps between the door and the frame. Trim pieces cover the edges and give the door a finished look. Together they block water, wind, dust, bugs, and rodents.
You need new weather seals when you see daylight under or around your closed garage door, when water comes in during rain, when you notice more dust or dirt in your garage, or when you find bugs or rodent droppings near the door. Old rubber seals crack, shrink, and pull away from the door over time. Replacing them is one of the cheapest upgrades you can make.
We need to see the current condition of your seals and trim. We measure the bottom seal width and the door frame dimensions to bring the right size replacements. Most weather seal materials are available the same day. The bottom seal slides into a channel on the bottom of the door. Side seals attach to the frame with screws or adhesive.
